A lovely little deli very close to Queen's Park. The owner is very friendly towards children. Food, cakes and coffee are great. They usually sell toddler snacks like Organix raisins and crisps. There is a hidden cosy back room seating area and good baby changing facilities

Finn S.Brighton19/4/2010If you think yourself a bit of a foodie, but have weak willpower and an even weaker bank balance, this place could be trouble. The first time a set foot inside this family-run deli looking for something to eat, I ended up spending the best part of £30 on lunch. The Sardinian proprietor runs a fine racket in coercion. "Do you like parma ham?" he asks. "Well you have to try this!" Slicing free tasters of deep-rouge, salty cured meat, before I know it I had a bag-full of cured lamb, crumbly pecorrino, dry pressed apple juice and a whole lot else. Doubling up as a café, there's a whole range of rustic, Mediterranean tarts, piquant salads, and Italian sweets on offer too. Pricey no doubt, this is high-end, top-quality fare, and you'll forgive the salesmanship after the first taste.

Felix T.Brighton9/3/2010A hidden gem of the Queen's park area. We went here to escape the Wintery outside conditions and were shocked to find this delightful cafe deli. When you step inside you see a deli counter and not too much else, but as you walk through to an almost hidden back room, you pass a whole host of organic and global food products. At the end of the row of shelves you find yourself in what seems like a family living room, but that was no bad thing. The owner was so friendly, in addition to our great coffees, we were also supplied with some homemade delicacies. We were all so taken with the Wild Cherry that we ended up purchasing industrial size bags of their homemade coffee blend.

http://www.chocoholly.com/category/where-to-buy-chocoholly/ Wild Cherry Cafe, BrightonThis cafe Deli is amazing and you will love the food which is top notch in every way. I have eaten in all of Brighton and Hove’s finest and can safely say that this is one of Brighton best kept secrets! They offer fresh salads of many interesting varieties and baked meals that look tasty and healthy. I had a pan au chocolat this morning and it was sprinkled with pumpkin seeds, also the coffee is fantastic. They also have a juice bar, sell fairtrade products and fruit and veg.I could go on but you will just have to visit it yourself!

Sophie W.Brighton7/12/2009This is the loveliest deli I've found in Brighton, and that's saying something, as they are a dime a dozen in this foodie town!Organic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free...whatever your requirement, you'll  find something delicious.  Wild Cherry specialize in homemade healthy food and it all tastes absolutely divine!  I spent at least ten minutes staring at the selection of savoury treats... anchovies and vegetable strudel, vegetable quiche, chorizo and ham lasagne...everything looked mouth-wateringly good! Whatever you choose, it will come with a choice of salads (and we're not talking lettuce and cucumber here!).  The sweets are equally as enticing: one side of the shop is given over to all sorts of pastries, cakes and even homemade bread and butter pudding!  The coffees are well made and a little cheaper than you might pay in the centre of town- a cappuccino and a chai latte cost £1.95 each.  Wild Cherry is not only a lovely little cafe, perfect for breakfast and lunch- they sell all sorts of posh pickles and preserves, as well olive oils, biscuits and chocolates.  This would be the ideal place to create a yummy Christmas hamper!

A simple organic deli style cafe where even the staff seem to be inspired and respect the whole concept. Ideal for real food lovers and to those who enjoy fine foods put together with love and innovation that works really well. Sample this cafe for breakfast, brunch, lunch or an early tea and you will not be disappointed. An absolute must when visiting Brighton.
